Happy New Year!!!

Happy 2009!!! I'm sorry again for not updating my blog. Been busy. Trust me. 2009 seems to be a bad year for me, from New Year's Eve till now I'm having a series of unfortunate events T.T

My finals is coming soon too so I would probably be busy these few MONTHS hehe so I won't be blogging often.

Anyway last month, my beloved woman came up to Penang & we had a wonderful time. She came up with her 4 friends, 1 guy as the driver & 3 other gurls as well. I met them up at Autocity (the only place I know how to drive there) & later at night we went to Gurney Drive & also Sunset Bistro, a well hidden but happening pub at Batu Ferringi. We were there till 2am, so her friends suggested that maybe I should overnight at the guy's apartment in the island as well. But since I did not bring anything, I went home to Butterworth anyway with my beloved woman.

The next day my beloved woman was supposed to join her friends at the island coz Butterworth is a small small town without tourist attraction so we planned to meet up with her friends at Queensbay Mall. When we saw them, we were surprised to see that they've brought their lugguages with them. The guy was no where to be seen.

In the end, we've come to know that the guy who drove them around, had secretly planted USB cameras in the toilet where they took their shower =.=" Luckily 1 of the girls was sharp enough to noticed it. They confronted the guy & demanded to see his parents. They took the cameras & also his laptop to delete the videos he had took of them. This guy was a friend of theirs since high school & he look so honest & nice you won't even imagine he would have done it. He even confessed that it wasn't the first time he had done this, he had also taken the videos of his housemates in Australia.

So the purpose of this post is to remind you the true nature of men HAHAHAHAH just joking la. What I wanted to say is that we as females should never let our guard down no matter who we're with. It doesn't matter how long we've known someone because there's no guarantee that they will not betray our trusts in any ways. You have to protect yourselves & be alert (you might find tonnes of hidden cams this way =)). Or else it could have been you to be the next Gillian Chung or watever.

P.s. let me remind you that you CAN make a police report regarding this matter.

Productive Weekend

While my other housemates are having fun in Cameron Highlands, me & Pri chan was having fun staying back at Butterworth too. On Friday night, 6 of us went to watch Twilight.

He still looks weird to me.

Yen chan said the movie was so dissapointing as she loved the books. To me, I actually enjoyed the show but I thought that the main actor should brush up his acting skills =.="

Then on Saturday, after sending my housemates off, me & pri chan went to Queensbay mall. We ate at Kim Gary's new outlet T.T I finally found you! Then after dinner, we went to watch Linda Chung's performance in Queensbay mall. She came for the brand she advertised, Tanaka Bio-essence, & also to promote her new album. OMG IS SHE HUMAN OR WAT?






We were standing at the backstage area so at 1 point we're actually quite near her as she was awiting for her time to appear on stage. But Pri chan didn't save that video T.T Then after the show everyone was waiting for her at the backstage exit but I look around for the possible route that she'll take to leave the place & I waited at the toilet area (because it's near the exit to the carpark) & she did really went out that way T.T I GET TO SEE HER CLOSE UP WITHOUT THE CROWD HAHAHAHAH. Kinda like stalker right? HAHHAHAHAHA I heard Yeung Yi was also in town yesterday but she went to Gurney Plaza. Too bad, perhaps next time.

Then yesterday we went to Megamall for karaokay & ended up shopping again.

7 pairs of shoes in 2 days.
3 pants.
2 tops.
1 belt.
3 books.
4 comics.
1 pair of sunglasses.

And now I'm eyeing a Guess wallet 40% off T.T

I HATE IT WHEN SHOPPING MALLS PLAY XMAS SONGS! IT MAKES YOU BUY EVERYTHING! I'm so sorry mum & dad.

Hong Kong Day 4

We were choosing to go either Disneyland or Ocean Park on the 4th day in Hong Kong & finally we decided to go Ocean Park since me & my sis has already been to Paris & Tokyo Disneyland. Well, all I can say is its really a bad idea to go to theme parks in summer unless you're a 'sun' person. I'm more like a 'rain' or 'cloud' person. In other words, I like weather that's good to sleep in.It was so freaking hot & they made us took out our caps for the ride
But the view is worth it
Our umbrellas are just inches away.
I wanted to ride on this, but then I remembered that I wore a skirt that day T.T
Sourvenir shops. I'm totally in love with the lobster stuff toy can someone get it for me when you go there next time?
It was so crowded & nobody wanted to sit at the exposed area because it was so freaking hot.
Dolphin show!
I dunno why but I feel like fighting for animal rights after the show. Imagine if you're a dolphin & you were trained to flip & turn in the air for the rest of your life T.T

Nobody felt like eating lunch due to the weather & the price of the food over there. We desperately needed aircond so we went to the aquarium. Apparently everyone else does too. The whole time inside the aquarium we were pushed by the visitors behind us & the place is so crowded that I think the fishes are dying of heatstroke.
And everytime we take pictures we only got 2 seconds before the people starts pushing again. Look at my oily face to tell you how hot it is.
We have no idea what's in the background because we have no time to look at it LOL.This is actually a type of seahorse. So cool right?

After the aquarium, we went to the second part of Ocean Park where you'll have to take a cable car to reach there.
But it turns out that it was for kids less than 12 years old & SOME SUPER EMBARASSING EMERGENCY happened so we took off & went back to Zhong Wan MTR station. Apparently disposable panties are not really a safe travel option after all.

Then we headed to the Jumbo Floating Restaurant, which is like the landmark of Hong Kong. I used to see it in promotional videos of Hong Kong. We took a bus to the jetty, & took a free sampan provided by the restaurant to reach there.

The seafood buffet cost around RM 180 per person.

Later we went back to Tong Lo Wan MTR station to go to our next destination & please look at the crowd!

Later at night, we went to Golden Computer Center because I was so determined to buy WII fit. The electronics & computer gadgets are so cheap over there I think OTAKUs will love it if you go there.
We finished surveying the whole place around 10 something & we figure its still too early to go back so we walked to Ladies Street to shop again HAHAH. I was so determined to find the Converse Sneakers at the Sportshoes Street but then I accidentally found a Japanese restaurant having 50 % off on Sushi & sashimi after 10 pm so me & my sister went up to eat.


The atmosphere was great & it's really worth it because the salmon & tuna I expected was as thin as paper but this proove me wrong. But there's one thing about Hong Kong that you should know. THERE'S A LOT OF HIDDEN CHARGES AROUND. When we were full & satisfied, we asked for the bill & the waitress came over & tell us, 'You have to spend at least RM30 per head to get the half price discount.' So we end up ordering salmon sashimi again & ate until we got the sum. This is not the only time so please be careful when you're buying something or eating in a restaurant in Hong Kong.
